The idea behind this illustration aims to represent the divide in lifestyle and perspective between Charlie and Lola, as well as the inner battle of Lola's identity, with both conflicts being tied to the elaborate boots that Charlie's company manufactures.

This piece was commissioned by artist DMNK for her single "Pesadilla", translated to "Nightmare". The single was heavily inspired by traditional Japanese motifs and sounds, so it felt only apprpriate to mirror that inspiration in the illustration. The cover features the singer/songwriter (forefront), the male lead and the supporting actresses featured in the music video of Pesadilla.
